Using SafeCheck is easy!

1. Easily Begin for Free

SafeCheck is available for free to enrolled dealers in the Octane Dealer Platform. Just fill out Octane’s simple application form to get a real loan decision in seconds – without impacting your customers’ credit.

2. Click “View Credit Report”

Once you receive the funding decision, click “View Credit Report” to see your client’s bureau report.

3. Close the Deal

Then, you can close the deal in minutes using Octane’s simple digital contract. Plus, if you’re an Octane Preferred member, you’ll have access to exclusive benefits and priority chat functions to make closing the deal even faster.

Disclosures: Prior to utilizing SafeCheck, all dealerships are subject to underwriting approval by Octane Lending, Inc. (“Octane”), in its sole discretion. A signed Customer Prequalification Service Agreement (and any required addendums) between the dealership and Octane is required. Use of the Experian product information provided using the SafeCheck service and all credit information therein may be used for no other purpose other than to evaluate the associated Applicant for pre-qualified offers of credit and for no other reason in violation of the Customer Prequalification Service Agreement.

Dealer may not sell the SafeCheck credit report data to any third party nor the applicant. Dealers are not permitted directly or indirectly to charge an applicant any fees or costs or require any payment for any pre-qualification services or other information derived from the SafeCheck credit data. Dealers may not provide any SafeCheck credit data (in whole or in part) obtained through the SafeCheck services to an applicant or any third parties including but not limited to credit score or other information or indicator of an applicant’s credit worthiness.

By accessing the SafeCheck services, Dealers shall not; a.) Operate as the agent of any third party (Other than the Dealer); b.) Offer depersonalized credit data for bid by third parties; c.) Utilize pre-qualification services to replace a hard inquiry for the purpose of approving credit or any other option displayed to Applicant; d.) Operate as a reseller of pre-qualification services or provide any leads generated by pre-qualification services to another entity; and e.) Make any credit decision nor provide FCRA prescreen services on behalf of a third party.

Dealers must obtain the written instructions and authorization from an applicant, in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable law, prior to accessing the SafeCheck services, the associated credit data and any pre-qualification services
